Hello and welcome to July 2026!
July 2026 arrives with a rich and transformative current, weaving together emotional growth, relationship developments, communication shifts, and karmic lessons as several important planets and lunar nodes change signs throughout the month.
We are also stepping into the heart of retrograde season. Mercury, having turned retrograde on June 29th, spends much of the month moving backward through Cancer (going direct on July 23) while Saturn and Neptune also begin their retrograde journeys in Aries.
Mercury retrograde in Cancer turns our attention towards the emotional past. The challenge isn't simply communication mishaps or missed emails; our emotional history shapes the stories we tell ourselves in the present. But Mercury's backward motion is only part of the picture.
This month isn't about charging ahead at full speed. Before the next chapter begins, we're being asked to revisit the emotional narratives (Mercury), responsibilities (Saturn), and dreams (Neptune) that have been quietly steering our decisions behind the scenes.
Of course, it's not all cosmic homework. We also have to celebrate our spicy lionesses as Leo season arrives on the 23rd. After weeks of introspection, Leo reminds us to return to our creativity, confidence, pleasure, and unapologetic self-expression.
Plus, the biggest shift arrives on the 27th, when the Lunar Nodes of Fate change signs.
The North Node moves into Aquarius while the South Node enters Leo, beginning a new collective storyline that will unfold over the next eighteen months.
Think of the Nodes as your Natal Chart’s compass. The South Node reveals old habits, comfort zones, and Karmic patterns we've mastered but may have outgrown. The North Node points towards growth, evolution, and the unfamiliar territory we're being asked to explore.
Collectively, we're moving from the kingdom of Leo into the realm of Aquarius. From top-down government/corporate control to bottom-up, neighborhood initiations. From individual performance to collective participation, from being seen to contributing something meaningful. The question over the next eighteen months won't simply be, "How do I stand out?" It will be, "What are we, together, building, and who am I building it with?"
So with all that cosmic motion in the mix, the big question becomes: how do we work with it in everyday life? Here are a few heart-centered ways to channel July’s energy with intention, clarity, and a little celestial flair.

Our emotions, intentions, and attitudes are not isolated; they ripple outward and influence the atmosphere we share. One meaningful way to ease societal stress is for each of us to take responsibility for the energy we bring into the world. By cultivating personal coherence and raising our vibration, we become more conscious of the thoughts and feelings we are feeding into the field each day.

Mars Conjunct Uranus (July 4th); Mars is in Taurus, the sign linked to banking and money and is already in an out-of-sign conjunction to Uranus in Gemini. Mars-Uranus combinations are linked to cyber-attacks, internet and power outages, and disruptions in communication systems (Gemini). This conjunction becomes exact on July 4th at 4° Gemini, a highly combustible and explosive aspect, with fireworks that day being a perfect expression of that. Take care with any impulsive behavior running into the 4th.
Neptune stations Retrograde (July 7th); Reality checks kick in during this period, which lasts until December 12th, you’ll be able to see if your goals are realistic or pipe dreams. This intel will allow you to make smart, practical decisions. Goals and plans get rechecked to see if they are viable, affordable and if they really align with your dreams.
Venus moves into Virgo (July 9th); Venus in Virgo on the 9th puts acts of service front and center in every relationship. Taking care of others ensures happiness. This is also a fabulous few weeks to tidy your home and garden. Splurge on cleaning supplies, garden tools, plants, and organization products. Venus leaves Virgo on August 6th.
New Moon in Cancer (July 14th): The New Moon in Cancer on the 14th is excellent for purchasing new property or starting home renovation projects. It’s also a lovely time to start a family. If you want to expand your brood (including animals), now’s the time.
Saturn stations Retrograde (July 26th): Revisit plans? How are your projects coming along? Do you need to revise your goals? This period could also test boundaries. You may need to reassert yourself with a few folks. Also, use this time to complete renovations, address foundational issues in your home, and take responsibility for past mistakes. Saturn will be direct on December 10th.
Full Moon in Aquarius (July 29th): Emotions could be intense on this day, and intuition could be heightened. Pay attention to your feelings, they could be revealing. This day could also bring important community news or a reason for celebration. Best of all: the Sun is aligned with Jupiter today, making it the luckiest day of the year. Make a wish!
